Food was great, we tried the Italian beef egg rolls and potato fries. Both were tasty and hot and fresh. Service was quick and pleasant, lots big screen TVs of Thursday Night football, I would recommend and visit again

We had a nice Friday date night at Ellyn's! Service was friendly and prompt, and all our food came out piping hot. I thought it was the perfect bar vibe. Not a dive and nothing too fancy. Looks like they do great carry out, too. Drink options were excellent and the menu was the perfect size. My chicken sandwich was pretty good. The chicken was huge and yummy - wished for a little bit more flavor in the "tangy" slaw. I think it needed a little more sauce or something. The amount of food was great; I did have to use a take home box! Highly recommend the pickles and curds shareable. Very tasty! We will come back to try more.
My boyfriend and I tried for the first time last night. Sat at the bar. Bartender, Tori, was excellent! She has a delightful personality. Tori made us feel welcome and gave us a few good chuckles. She also checked on us several times to assure all was good. We tried the Ninja Fries which were delicious. Cocktails were well made. We'll be back soon! Tori works Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
I love this Family-owned business and especially that it is owned by a veteran. My family has been coming here for years, and my go to was always the Shrimp tacos! My last time in with a friend I tried a Burger. I highly recommend The Burgatory. Goat cheese on a burger- Who knew? It's drool-worthy. The other new addition I'm obsessed with is the Fried Pickles and Cheese curds appetizer. Why has no one else thought to combine these two before? And their homemade pie is unbeatable! New flavor each week. The staff is fabulous and these guys just celebrated 15 years in business. Cheers to Ellyn's Tap & Grill.
Updating my review to 5 stars. We ate here again and the specials were phenomenal. Pot roast grilled cheese with a side of dipping sauce. Breaded pork over tender, flavorful veggies with a mustard cream sauce, just outstanding.
Food is always consistent. Feels more like high end bar food than bougie gastro food. Riding right in the slot, just past the click. It's plain enough to know what you're eating, and fancy enough to really enjoy doing it.
We tried this place for the first time because we were in the area and glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing! Even the kids enjoyed it and they were so excited to get a sucker with their food tray! The servers were so nice and friendly! The only reason I didn't give 5 starts was because we came on trivia and it got super busy so had to wait long for a box and our check..
